Dave not sure if you remember me we attended school together in East Northport. I remember when John Quinn told me that your wife was lost on that terrible day. I think about you every September 11 and can’t imagine how painful it must be for you. I know it’s been 20 years but it seems like yesterday. I hope you have been able to find some peace.

I wear Ivelin's name, along with 3 other 9/11 victims, on a US flag pin every 9/11. My company made these pins on the first anniversary of the tragic day. Though I never knew her, I honor her memory every year.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone that has posted such beautiful memories, thoughts and prayers for Eve and my family. All of you know what an amazing person Eve was. Eve and I did everything together, living an amazing life as “one person”. Although 20 years have passed since that horrific day, it is a snap of the finger in time for me. My wife was the center of my life and I miss her terribly each and every day. May God bless all of you and once again thank you for keeping Eve in your thoughts and prayers. Dave Ziminski.

I have the most wonderful memories of Eve. She was the most gentle and humble person I have ever known. We attended school together most of our young lives, at Transfiguration School in Tarrytown. There were four of us, Eve, Lourdes, Alina and myself - we were pretty much inseparable. Celina, Ivan, Janet and others to whom she was so very dear, take refuge in the amazing life she led and the memories and love that she left with us all. Mine were and continue to be unforgettable. May the peace of our Lord God bless you all. ~ Irma Lidya (Garcia) Urquiola, Orlando, FL

I miss Harry he was a real good friend that summer to me.

It's the worst thing that has happened to our family but if you were still alive I know you would be my favorite aunt based on all the wonderful memories my mom has shared with me about you and how much you loved me. I have all the books and Boyd Bears that you gave me and Uncle David still sends us Boyd Bears and books that you had bought for us years ago. I will keep your memory alive forever and ever. love tatum juliet

It's been almost eight years and I am working at One New York Plaza across the street from 125 Broad, where we worked together at J&H.; I was having a smoke in the designated area and was just staring at 125 when I thought of you. You were the last one that I learned of the week after 9/11. I just collapsed at the thought of you no longer being in this world: the great talks, stories of vacations, Mercurs and silly slippers. I keep the picture of you on the Materhorne on my hard drive. It's how I like to remember you.

Dear Eve, in 2001 I kept hoping your name wouldn't be one of the lost. It shattered my heart into a billion pieces. What words best describe you? Lifelong friend, funloving, loads of fun memories. We were friends in college, friends when I needed someone after the death of my niece in 1980. I miss you and think of you everyday. I'll never forget the good times which you brought to my life. I wish I could have met your husband David, but after moving to Florida in 1987, we lost touch. I'm sure you have filled his life with joy, and your memory continues to warm his heart. May God keep you in all his glory. See you soon. Love, Alicia

Eve, Everytime I come across your name in the list of the missing, I can't believe you are one of them. I remember being surprised to learn about your love of cars (Merkurs) and your Cuban side! You wowed me at the Cristmas party with your latina dancing. I loved chatting with you all the time and you had a great sense of humor. I know Greg enjoyed that about you too. I hope you are at rest in heaven. Love always, Michael Cantatore

I cannot believe that today (5/28/02) I have just discovered that some of my former colleagues at M&M; (previously from J&H;) were victims of the devastating attack on 9/11. I left J&H; almost 7 years ago & never really kept in touch with anyone there. I had known that J&H; was acquired by M&M; & that M&M; had some offices in the WTC, but I never really gave it much thought. Today, I stumbled upon a website that listed all victims, sortable by employer. Out of curiousity, I decided to check the impact on M&M; and was STUNNED to see so many of my former co-workers listed. I worked with Eve, both at J&H; & previously at The Bank of New York. She was known as an avid skier & a very caring person. I am in real shock over the loss of such a caring person. I send my deepest sympathies to her family & friends. I am very sorry to hear of this news. -Michael Goldberg 5/28/02
