Denny, as we-your friends-knew you in Becton... I miss you as do many of the people who had the opportunity to know you. I will always hold dear the memories I have of our friendship, in Faust and Becton, and spending time with your family.

It has been 8 years today and it still seems like just yesterday that everything had happened. We all miss Dennis very deeply and nothing has been the same in our family since. I want you to know that Dennis is always in my thoughts and prayers.

Seven years and the pain is still fresh. I am so sorry for your family and for all the firefighters in East Rutherford who, I am sure, still feel your loss every day. There's a great image of you in the new park in East Rutherford. You're a hero. God bless.
