I never met Jeannette Menichino in person, but for many years we corresponded monthly and talked on the phone so many times, as she was my work contact at Guy Carpenter. She was always so professional and diligent. I felt as if I knew her already and I learned how to appreciate her as a person. After 911 I mourned for her; each time I saw her name on the different work documents my heart ached for her loss. I pray that her family will know she was loved and appreciated even by people like me that never had the pleasure to meet her in person. May you find joy, comfort, and peace in the memories you keep of her.

I knew Jeanette before she was married, and from St. Paul Reinsurance. She was in our Collections department and was the glue that held it all together. She was smart, and a pleasure to talk to.I am so sorry for her loss, and extend my sincere sorrow to her family and many friends. Thanks Jeanette for being a nice person and a pleasure to work with.

It has been 10 years since you were taken away. I remember you at our wedding back in 1988 and still have the group photo. We all had a great time that day and you are thought of all the time. You have not and never will be forgotten. Cousin Anthony was extremely lucky to have you as his wife and we were all lucky to know you.

Jeannette - no one has ever forgotten. We are still fighting in retaliation of this act of terrorism. All the fighting in the world will never bring you back...just know that we feel you are always with us in our hearts. Rest in Peace my dear friend <3

After 2.5 years, I am finally writing about Jeanette. I worked with Jeanette for over two years while at St.Paul Re, prior to the Guy Carpenter purchase. Honestly, I think about her almost everyday. She is on my mind constantly and I saw her shortly before 9/11 occurred in Duane Reade (lower level of One WTC). Not only was she a fabulous person to EVERYONE - she was a talented artist - we used to pretend that I would write a Children's book and she would be my illustrator - I haven't forgotten her; nor will I ever. At first, I mourned...now I feel blessed to know I knew Jeanette and the fabulous person she was - she lives in my heart and I try to think of her when the people of NYC can be just that - I think of her and find patience.

I never even knew Jeanette worked for Marsh. I knew Jeanette for at least 15 years. She was always present at all family functions. My husband was good friends and grew up with Jeanette husband & brother. In addition, her husband was my sister-in-laws brother. She was a terrific person and always great for a good laugh. I always enjoyed her company. She will be dearly missed and she was loved by many people especially her husband, Anthony, who unfortunately only had her for a short period of time.

At church each of us received a wrist band with someone's name on it in order to remember and pray for their family. I want Jeanette's family to know that she and her family are in my prayers and in my heart. May God sustain you in your grief.
