Well Honey, September 11th is fast approaching and I cannot believe it will be 23 years that you were taken from us!
Our family has grown and flourished this year.
Michael found his bride, Laura…not only did he become a husband but a dad too! Grace is amazing! They are very happy!
In addition, we are having another Grimner Granddaughter….Juliette will be a big sister! God has been very good to us!
Jake is growing up so much he is almost as tall as me.
You did an awesome job as a Father, your three sons are beautiful, loving, funny, caring human beings devoted to their wives and children!
Although life goes on, my heart misses you like it happened yesterday! Continue to wrap those Angel Wings around us and protect us with your love!😇🙏🩷

Dave, you know how much you are and have been missed these past 22 years. At every major event and milestone in the lives of those who love you...every day the sky is that amazing blue, not unlike your eyes, you are missed. If only you had taken the day and gone golfing with the guys. But, that is not who you are. A man of immense integrity. A man who loves God, family and country ...in that order. A man with an incredible sense of duty. There was never a grey area for you. Something was either right or wrong. And so, you skipped the golf game. Well, Hogan is there with you now. So, play that game, talk about the old times together and laugh that wonderful laugh of yours. Love you

Dave I think of you often. The countless train rides together, your sense of humor, and all those great times on the block watching our kids grow up. They are all young adults now. Some starting families; some careers.
We may not have done everything perfectly Dave, but we hit the mark with the children. The memory of our friendship keeps me proud, strong and on the right path. I will always be thankful for the time we spent together.
William A. Pezzulo,
I was part of the Corporate Benefits Department at Marsh and often interacted with Dave. Dave shared wonderful stories about his boys and his wife, Judy. He was so proud of his family. Dave was a true gentleman and scholar. As I drive the GWB I often look south to the Towers and say a little prayer for Dave. Somehow I think Dave is praying for all of us.
Kay Prince, Colleague
Dave was my brother and though we were 14 years apart, he was always the one to play with me! He taught me board games, cards and even rough housing around the house. I'll always remember the Mustang he drove and waiting up the night he brought the brown van home. My brother had a great sense of humor and a deep love for all around him. All I can say is I really miss him!
Virginia Grimner, Family
Remembering Dave who was a great colleague.

On this, the 3rd anniversary of the greatest U.S. tragedy ever, I am remembering my cousin, David, and thinking about his family and the great loss they have suffered. If I am still in shock and disbelief, how must they be feeling? My heart reaches out to them as they remember that fateful day which changed their lives forever. David lives on in the minds of those who knew and loved him.
Michael McGoldrick, Family
I FEEL THE SAME WAY THAT YOU FEEL ABOUT DAVID.

I had the true pleasure of working with Dave Grimner for a number of years when he was in the MMC Tax Department in midtown. Dave was a true gentleman, funny, and genuinely liked by all of the people he came in contact with at Marsh & McLennan. He was a special friend of the Corporate Benefits Department with which I was involved before I elected to retire -- we were always glad to see Dave. Dave will be sorely missed.
