As the ninth year approaches I will continue to say what a genuine, helpful and outstanding worker Mary was. She was dedicated to going way and beyond what was expected of her. She was always in early and always stayed late. An outstanding worker and an amazing mother as her desk were filled with pictures of her daughters. She knew how to please everyone and always had a positive attitude. What an ambitious strong woman! So glad to have had the privelege to work with you.

I will always remember you as the mother who knew how to raise her daughter well. Because of you, I had the privilege of knowing your daughter and experience the respect, integrity and dignity you instilled in her. Thank You.

Mommy I miss you so much. You were the most amazing, soft-hearted and loving mother. I now live my life in your shoes and never let a day go by without having you in my heart. You were my best friend then and are my guardian angel now. You are my star in the sky and I live my life the way you wanted me to. I can't wait to see you again.

There are so many amazing things to say about this woman. I was in the Chicago office and had spoken to Mary the previous friday. I needed to get some work done before the weekend deadline. And before I know it Mary is in the office till 10 at night emailing me all my completed work. That right their tells you just what an amazing hard worker she was. She put God first her family second and work third. But somehow she knew to always put her co-workers first.

Mary, because of her devotion to work and sense of duty, arrived to work too early on the morning of September 11th, 2001. Due to her approved absence the previous day, she felt the need to be in the office earlier than usually, just in case her work had piled up, only to encounter such a terrible destiny. Mary was a perfectionist. Since her job had to do with payments to vendors and company employees, she always did her best to pay them on time. She was always pleasnt and kind, never a bad utterance about anyone and always ready to help if any one in the department needed help. As a friend she was trusted and faithful. I enjoyed her company inmensely. I had known Mary for nearly 26 years and she was always the same: honest, umpretentious, kind and deeply religious. I could go on and on describing her qualities, not only as a friend and co-worker, but as a mother, wife and member of her church. We who knew Mary feel deeply sadden at her disappearance and we missed her every day of our lives.

Mary used to process my expenses and I was always impressed by her good humour and helpfulness. She was always professional but also sensitive to the fact that she was dealing with people's finances so was efficient and kindly. I miss working with her.
